Oral rehydration support
Oralade® is an isotonic drink for dogs and cats indicated to help reduce acute intestinal malabsorption disorders. Use during recovery periods after gastrointestinal problems and convalescence. It contains a balanced amount of electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and easily digestible sugars.
Support for microenteral nutrition
Oralade® contains amino acids such as glycine and glutamate, which nourish the enterocytes that line the gastrointestinal tract. The prebiotic FOS+ promotes the correct balance of the intestinal microbiota. The absence of fats and the low amount of protein allow for rapid digestion and easy absorption. It can be used as a hydration booster for heat stroke, travel, after exercise and during birth.
Administration Guide
In Bowl:

In Syringe:
Start with syringe or feeding tube 0.25ml/kg/h.
Increase volume +50% every 2 to 4 hours.
The above values are based on maintenance regimen volumes, actual requirements may vary based on age, breed and activity level of the animal. Additional/ongoing fluid losses should also be taken into account.
FROZEN: After a dental or esophageal injury use in the form of ice cubes for a hydrating and soothing action.
HOT: Increases palatability.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place, keep away from direct sunlight. Once opened refrigerate and use within 3 days or freeze and use within 12 months.
Clean water should always be available. Discard any undrunk amount after 12 hours. Shake well before use.
